Visit Riverland offers a variety of recreational opportunities for every age and ability. Discover outfitters, access points, and more…mere miles away or right out your back door.

GOLFING

Did someone say "Fore?" Actually, there are seven public golf courses available in the Visit Riverland area. Each course boasts a distinctive course in a scenic backdrop by the water or on the plains.

FISHING

Known for a variety of fish including northern, walleye, and channel catfish, the Red Lake River is your destination for fishing. Heck, it's so good, we don't stop just because the water is frozen (hard water fishing anyone?).

PARKS & TRAILS

What’s a community without public parks and trails? We wouldn’t know because our Visit Riverland communities are home to so many parks, we couldn’t name them all here. And our walking and riding paths are second to none. Don’t believe us? Well, bring your walking shoes, bicycles, or roller blades and find out for yourself.

WATERWAYS

The Visit Riverland area is home to six navigable rivers and provides the perfect setting for new and experienced boaters and anglers. So grab your boat, canoe, kayak, or even paddleboard and let your troubles float away. Need some waterway equipment? No problem.

SNOW FUN

You could say that motorized outdoor recreation is in our DNA. Visit Riverland is the proud home of Arctic Cat, builders of snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles.  Check out one of several local snowmobiling clubs or take a look at Visit Northwest Minnesota's maps to plan for your weekend out on the trails...

INDOORS

We love the outdoors as much as anyone, but great adventures can be found indoors, too. Our museums offer a glimpse of life in our area. Or try your hand at blackjack at the casinos. And did we mention the indoor waterparks?
