The Red Lake River winds through the beautiful City of Crookston, proud home of the University of Minnesota Crookston. The city boasts a superior city park system, access points to the river, and recreational opportunities on and off the water including hiking and cross-country ski trails, Frisbee golf, fishing, camping, birding, a 9-hole golf course, and more. Stroll Crookston’s historic & charming downtown and enjoy the prairie & prosperous farmland of NW Minnesota.

Small town charm with big-city amenities, Thief River Falls is home to a wide variety of recreation, history, and entertainment! Area attractions include an 18-hole miniature golf course, go-kart track, 48-acre wooden hiking trail system, movie theater with digital projection & sound, bowling alley, 18-hole golf course & casino with slot machines, blackjack, poker tables & an indoor water park!

A picturesque community with the convergence of two rivers with tubing, canoeing,  and kayaking in the midst of rolling hills, cliffs and small rapids. Red Lake Falls has a beautiful challenging golf course with hills and a creek. The trail system through the city has miles of beauty and wildlife. Come visit us!

St. Hilaire's Island Park is a favorite for many which features great fishing, several softball fields, a boat launch, natural walking trails, and a campground.

Fertile's sandy banks are home to the Sand Hills Golf Course, Agassiz Recreational Trail, and a variety of winter sports, including cross country skiing and snowmobiling.
